Mentor provides training and professional development for classroom, middle and senior leaders at primary, secondary and high-school level. Its focus is on how teachers teach and especially on how students learn. Mentor has remained focused on its core values which are key in raising standards and school improvement.

 

In recent years much has been discovered about the brain and learning. These new findings include accelerated learning, multiple intelligences and emotional intelligences. They are popular in schools and are finding their way into classrooms. Our courses incorporate these recent findings. Mentor however does take a pragmatic approach to learning in our schools and has devised courses which hit at the heart of current issues. Many courses are generic and are for personal, classroom and school improvement. All are now delivered in-house.

 

In addition to good input we endeavor to build time into the courses for teachers to interact with each other and the trainer. Group sizes are restricted to ensure this. Improvement of courses and needs have been identified by three simple questions.
